Poor Customer service and faulty product

The refrigerator we have was purchased less than a year ago but it is having problems. We have contracted the warranty company multiple times over the span of 3 1/2 months and the issues has not been resolved. Every time we speak to someone at the warranty company they tell us they will do something then when we call back they have not done it and have no record of previous calls, they have been rude and unprofessional and we have had 4 appliances companies assigned to come fix the product and they have not fixed it and the warranty company will not replace it.

We have been trying to get a refrigerator that is less than a year old fixed for 3 months. The customer service team will not answer direct questions, they keep claiming they don™™t have any documentation of conversations although we call daily, a supposed to be supervisor gave us the wrong reference number , they have given us 4 repair appointments and they have cancelled all of them. This is the worst experience ever and I would not buy anything from Frigidaire.

My other fridge quit working almost completely the day after Christmas. I don't have the $ to buy a new fridge. My church bought this one for me. It is almost exactly like my old fridge. I like the model they chose and am happy with it. It is roomier in some ways and more efficient as well. I am so grateful to have this fridge.

I've owned this model for less than 6 mos (under warranty) and it stopped working a week ago. I contacted Frigidaire via chat. The earliest I could get a repairman out was today (01/27/25). On Thursday, I received an email that the repair job was canceled and assigned to Electrolux. The message stated I would be contacted within 24-48 hours..... & still nothing. Today I called Frigidair's support line & was provided with another name & number and still no progress. Totally sucks! Don't buy Frigidaire!!!!

I had it for 2 months. When you close the fridge door fast, the freezer door opens and stays open. If you load the freezer door, it will lean, and the freezer handle will rub against the fridge door handle.

Purchased this in May 2024 at Home Depot for my 90 yr old father, it has already stopped working as of Jan. 12. Finding service is almost impossible and Frigidaire doesn't seem to care. Customer Service seems nice enough via chat however they can't assist any faster. Still under the 1 yr warranty and I do not recommend this product. Do better.

So far my refrigerator that is a top freezer refrigerator stainless steel color,meets my satisfaction.love the positioning of the interior shelves.no ice maker,but makes ice in ice trays just fine. Overall rating i give a 10. Most happy with appliance. Bought at a home Depot.

I paired the stainless steel refrigerator with other white appliances in my kitchen and blends in well, breaking up the all white look. I™™m disappointed that it stopped working within the first year and the part is back ordered.

Please note, this is more of a review of Frigidaire's customer support warranty procedures. The phone and text support staff have been very courteous every time I've called.This refrigerator was delivered in June and stopped working at the end of November. It is in a rental property and tenants notified us it was not cooling. Frigidaire sent a repair person out (12/9) who was extremely rude to the tenants and the property manager. He made at least 4 visits/repair attempts (12/9, 12/12, 12/19, 12/26) and only sent me 1 receipt for services. I'm assuming he wants Frigidaire to believe he only made 1 attempt to repair it. As you see from the above dates, the tenants were without a full size refrigerator over Christmas. I had to purchase a minifridge for them to use, and I've just purchased a replacement refrigerator (another brand) that was delivered on January 3. I made another call to Frigidaire on 12/30 after being notified that the 12/26 repair had failed. The Frigidaire support people told me they had to send out another person to do a second opinion. Well guess what...they sent the same guy. When he arrived today, he called the tenant from his truck and rudely told them he "didn't know why he was there and wasn't getting out of the truck." It is now January 6 and I am on hold with Frigidaire as they try to get us a third party repair person to give a real second opinion, but that doesn't seem like it is going well...I've been on hold for 45 minutes now. I have until June 2025 before the warranty is up...maybe it will be fixed before then.

Brand new Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer broke less than 6 months after purchase. While covered under the 1-year warranty, it took more than 1 week to have our refrigerator fixed. We were told that the electronic switch that controls the defrost mode was stuck in the on mode. Since it is an electronic switch and not mechanical, the only remedy is to replace the part. Furthermore, we were told this switch malfunction is a common issue with this appliance.

total absence of a printed owners manual is unacceptable - numerous senior citizens have NO access to to smart phones ! - when unit kept running for hours thought it was defective, your help line closed + sellers appliance store closed, had to wait till next day [Saturday] + your help line closed for the weekend - dealer explained that running condition is normal - still need user manual for maintenance, cleaning, + feature instructions ! -

The is a top tier fridge and does a fine job and keeping all of my produce,dairy, and meats fresh. The top freezer component also does an amazing job at freezing things like drinks, ice cream, and other novelties. I highly recommend purchasing this product!

Food items from the old frig is complete and the new one has replaced the old one.Two things that I do miss that are not designed into the new frig is a "butter keeper" and a "Deli" drawer. However, a shallow container should make a good substitute according to my daughter-in-law.

We bought this for our garage and it is the perfect size. It™™s small but does have a lot of space inside for items both in the refrigerator and freezer part. My only complaint is unwrapping the fridge. It took so much time and effort to take that blue taping off of the entire fridge. Not to mention all the tape inside of the fridge. I understand it to keep the fridge from denting and getting damage, but oh my goodness that was a workout.

After looking at various brands and models, I selected this Frigidaire refrigerator based on price and the cubic space it had based on the size of the fridge. I was happy how Frigidaire maximized the space inside the fridge and freezer compared to other brands. I wanted something simple and nothing fancy. I was happy to get the stainless steel on sale for the same price as the other options. However, the delivery experience was terrible and then it broke after only having it for 5 months! It took me 2 days to reach customer service since it broke after Thanksgiving. They only have service M-F, and on Monday I kept getting disconnected. When I finally reached them on Tuesday, they got me a service appointment for the following Monday! I went 10 days without a refrigerator, and the warranty doesn™™t cover the cost of any food that you lose from it not working! I see many complaints recently regarding the same issue my fridge had of it not cooling anymore and service tech said they had been fixing a lot of them. Sounds like a major problem Frigidaire refuses to correct. I will never buy Frigidaire again!

The refrigerator section is pretty roomy. The shelves are deep, so it's a little hard to organize. I will buy some containers to make it easier. There is a 5-degree difference between top and bottom shelves. I measured front and back sections on all shelves over the course of a week. That seems a little much for me. It could use an additional shelf. That is a problem because the unit does not come with a detailed diagram with a parts list. I did find one on another website. The parts are not available on the Frigidaire site - that's weird to me. There is no e-mail available for customer service, only chat and telephone. I don't expect a quick response on anything if I need it. CR rates his well, so it should last.

We really needed and upgrade, so took advantage of Black Friday sales. Selected an amazing package of 4 appliances at an amazing price including parts, delivery, and installation. This 20 cu ft refrigerator fit into my 18 cu foot space. Icemaker was not included but added later. Would give it a five except for the nuisance of having to add the ice maker later.
