I bought this microwave almost a year and few months ago. I loved the spacious and easy way to use but I had to call for service and they had to replace the main computer board and the magnetron twice. At least both times it was under warranty. I still love the microwave but disappointed that it had to be repaired twice.

I bought this microwave a month ago and am generally pleased with this model. There are some improvements that I would suggest. The light under the oven is barely betten than a night light. More light shining down on the cooktop below would be great The buttons on the glass door are impossible to read in the dark. The kitchen lights must be on to use the microwave.

I hope to improve this rating once I get my issue resolved... I purchased this microwave on 11/28/24 and it seems to be missing the internal light cover the cover for the light inside the cavity. I cant say for sure what this part looks like because Ive never seen it. Even though I purchased an extended warranty I cant figure out how to reach customer service to GET A NEW LIGHT COVER SHIPPED TO ME. Besides that frustrating issue I also notice that the inside of the microwave STEAMS UP quite a bit more than my previous microwave. Overall it functions as a micowave but theres nothing exciting to say about this product. As for LG can someone help me figure out how to contact LG and tell them a part is missing? I dont need a REPAIR the part is MISSING not broken.

I bought this microwave just over a year ago and we already had to replace it. It almost caught my house on fire because it was pulling an excessive amount of power causing the power cord to smoke. It melted the outside and damaged the power cord completely. I contacted customer service and they gave me the run around. The issue was never addressed or fixed so I replaced the microwave and had the outlet replaced.

If I could I would give a minus 10 rating. Our microwave quit working almost 2 months ago weve had an LG tech out 5 times to attempt to repair it and hasnt been able to its still under warranty and LG refuses to replace it they want to continue sending techs out and are now ignoring us this has become a nightmare we are still without a microwave we purchased around $7K worth of LG appliances and rest assured will never buy another LG product EVER

I bought it Nov. 1st and it was installed in the 4th of Nov. It worked 12 days then the heater quit and I couldnt find anyone to service it even though it was brand new under warranty. So we had to do without it thru Thanksgiving Yesterday Monday Dec.9th. I think Im gonna love it cos I own other LG items and Im very satisfied with them. I guess I just got the proverbial lemon

The microwave works very well and heats up things quickly. I really enjoy it It would be nice to have a light behind the numbers and options so that it would be easier to see the options. Maybe just darker or bolder print on the keys. I find that it is difficult to read the choices when it is not bright outside or the light is low.

The interior light on this microwave broke within three months. In order to change the lightbulb the entire microwave needs to be pulled apart. LG sent a technician out to repair the unit after months of back-and-forth and the technician refused to work on it unless it was pulled off the wall. We had the microwave installed professionally and would need to pay to have it removed so the technician can take it apart to replace a single lightbulb. Very poorly engineered. Apparently LG is sending a new microwave now possibly. I wont hold my breath. Buyer beware.

I bought this a month ago and it still isnt installed because my cabinet has a spacer and i cannot obtain the long installation bolts needed. I have spent hours on the phone with LG customer service explaining what I need and they send the wrong thing. Probably will have to return microwave.

We had to replace an over-the-range microwave so we did a little bit of research and came up with the LG MVEL203F. It was easy to install ourselves we are handy and it is attractive yet minimal has good power 1050 W and space inside well-thought-out well-designed. In short it pleases us on all levels. No regrets whatsoever. If I had a wish to make it would be to get rid of the ice cream truck tune it plays when it shuts off after cooking is done. OUCH.. I did turn the sound off but alas it renders the Timer function pretty useless. A great unit all told. Nothing is perfect anyway.

Our previous microwave which was in good working order suddenly sounded like a big bang and died. Wanted a replacement quickly so went to home depot. Truthfully just needed a microwave without all the other things such as air fryers Etc and a basic hood range built in. Love the look of this microwave. Seems a bit noisy on high power but perhaps its just me. Does seem to cook faster than our previous microwave which is a bonus.
