"I thought I would take a moment and write a testimonial to tell how appreciative I am to Dana and her team at Tidewater Appliance, more so than to showcase the GE profile complete appliance package that we purchased from them in March of 2018.
Our original GE appliances were coming up to 14 years old and one by one they were starting to quit on us. We decided to go ahead and purchase new a complete set of appliances which included microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. We did our homework, we were happy with GE so we decided to stay with them. We went to all of the big box stores, checked on line, but to make a long story short decided to purchase from Tidewater Appliance, and I am glad we did.
Unfortunately we got a lemon of a dishwasher in our package. After a few weeks it decided to throw a "leak detect" alarm and if you had stock in paper products your shares would of gone up. I am not going to hammer GE, since the rest of our products are problem free, and being in manufacturing for 25 years I get it, there may be one that slips by; it just so happens we got it. After speaking with GE on the phone and countless times of them sending a tech to try and fix, Dana stepped in and said this is unacceptable to my customer, and ordered us a new dishwasher.
I am sure a big box store would not have given us the time of day; it is the "personal" service that Dana gave to make sure her customers were treated right! She showed real business principals. I have no reservation in recommending Dana and her team at Tidewater Appliance for any or all of your needs. She has a fantastic show room with so many brands of makes and models; yes she now has a customer for life."
